-------- JAWS Eccentric Compensating Chuck (JPCE) --------
JAWS Eccentric Compensating chucks have been designed to hold work piece in between centre having eccentricity or irregularity. These compensating chuck provide total solution to any chucking problem that requires the jaw movement to be compensated to match the eccentricity or irregularity of the work piece.
The work piece is located by a centre mounted in a housing & chucked by means of compensating jaws. The compensating action is provided by radially floating chucking piston.
JPCE is essentially designed where the component is usually located between two centre. One on the chuck body & one on the tail stock of the machine. The JPCE is supplied with 2 sets of soft jaws, suitable Allen keys, grease gun as standard equipment. Special hard jaws to suit specific applications can also be supplied on request.
These chucks can be readily converted for use as an ordinary self-centering chuck by simply changing the centering insert.
These chucks are actuated either by Pneumatic Cylinder or Hydraulic Cylinder.
JPCE are offered with a centering insert with spring loaded & a solid centre as a standard feature. A centering insert with fixed centre can also be supplied on request.
Provision has been made for manual lubrication of the sliding surfaces periodically through grease nipples.
